After selecting a submenu, the
related list of imported POI categories
will be displayed.
Importing the POI data to the
Infotainment system
Connect the USB drive with your
individual POI data to the USB port of
the Infotainment system, see chapter
"USB port" 3 122.
To start the import: press the
CONFIG button, select Navigation
settings, select Import individual
POIs and then select Continue.
All POI data stored on the USB drive
is imported to the myPOIs memory of
the Infotainment system.
After the import is finished, the
imported POIs are selectable as
destinations via the Enter
destination menu, see chapter
"Destination input" below.
myPOIs announcer
(only Navi 900)
Via the myPOIs announcer you can
be notified via a message on the
display (see image below) and a beep
when the vehicle approaches a point
of interest (POI) stored in the myPOIs
memory of the Infotainment system.

"Exporting and importing POI data"
above and chapter "Destination input"
below.
If route guidance is active, you are
notified only when the vehicle
approaches a POI which is located
next to a road on the calculated route.
If route guidance is inactive, you are
notified when the vehicle approaches
a POI which is located next to the road
you are currently driving on.
Additionally you are notified when the
vehicle approaches a POI which is
located next to an adjacent road, and
if the system considers it very
probable that you will turn into that
road next.
Setting up the myPOIs announcer
Press the CONFIG button, select
Navigation settings and then select
myPOIs announcement.
A menu is displayed that shows the
POI categories currently stored in the
myPOIs memory.
