Driving dynamics

ecoFLEX diesels. Zafira’s two turbo

diesel ecoFLEX models – a 1.7CDTi 16v

(110PS) and 1.7CDTi 16v (125PS) have CO

emission figures of only 134g/km. Not only

do they save you money with lower

Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) charges and

benefit in kind company car tax (see table

left), but they do so without compromising

the excellent driveability and performance

Zafira is renowned for.

Petrol engines. Zafira’s twin-cam 1.6i 16v

VVT and 1.8i 16v VVT Euro 5 engines

feature multi-point sequential fuel

injection and utilise Double Continuous

Variable Cam Phasing (DCVCP), which

provides most of the available torque

across a wide rev band. The result?

More power, lower fuel consumption

and improved CO

emissions.

Six-speed. Zafira comes with a

six-speed manual gearbox as standard

on all diesel models. Petrol models come

with a five-speed manual as standard.
