Electric sun roof 3

Rotary switch between the sun visors.

Operation with ignition switched on:

Openi ng

Set th e rota ry switc h to a p o sition be twee n l

and ü; the sun roof will automatically move

to the desired position. When the switch is in

position ü the sun roof is fully opened.

Comfort position

Rotary switch locks shortly before

reac hing ü. W ith th e roo f in t his posit ion,

wind n oise is re duced.

To close:

Turn rotary switch to l.

To rais e:

Set the rotary switch to a position between l

and q; the sun roof will automatically move to

the desired position. When the switch is in

position q the sun roof is fully raised.

To lo we r:

Turn rotary switch to l.

Position memory

After the ignition has bee n switched on, the

sun roof ca n be automatically returned to its

last position by briefly pressing the rotary

switch.

Saf e ty fu n c ti o n

If the sun roof encounters resistance during

automatic closing, it is immediately stopped

and opened again.

If th e roof do es n ot mo ve easily, on a ccoun t of

frost for example, turn the rotary switch to l

and ke ep it de presse d until the sun roof is

close d.

Sun shade

The sun shade c an be opened and close d

with the sun roof either closed or raised.

Whe n the sun roof is opened, the sun shade

is also opened.

Closing sun roof from outside

The electric ally operated sun roof and the

windows 3 can be c losed u sing the radio

remote control: Press button p until the sun

roof and windows a re close d

– or –

Hold the key in the driver’s door lock in the

door locking position until the sun roof and

windows are closed.

If the sun roof is to remain open, briefly press

the rotary switch before t urning off the

ignition.
