Vehicle identification dat a
The vehicle identif ic ation number is stampe d
on the identification plat e (see previous page)
and in the vehic le floor on the right-ha nd side
under a cover between the front door and
seat.
Also the vehicle identifica tion number is
visible on the instrument panel and viewed
through the front windscreen on the left hand
side.
Engine iden tifie r code and e ngine number:
stamped on left-hand side of engine on
cran kcase .
Coolant, brake fluid, oils

contact a Vauxhall Dealership, who will
always use the correct product.
Engine oils
We recommend the use of Vauxhall engine
oils with the following grades and viscosities:
ACEA A3/B3 SAE 0W-30
– or –
ACEA A3/B3 SAE 5W-40
– or –
ACEA A3/B3 SAE 10W-40
The range of application of the oil is
depe ndent on the outside temperature – see
the diagram on the next page.
When using commercially available engine
oils, as a matter of principle only those oils
that meet the minimum quality requirements
spec ifie d in the following table are
permissible.
Only the following viscosity classes are
permissible:
SA E 10 W-30 (o r hig her tha n 30) or
SA E 5 W -30 (or higher than 30 ) or
SA E 0 W -30 (or higher than 30 ).

Engine oils wh ic h are specifica lly de signated
for use in diesel engines are n ot suitable for
petrol engines.
If the engine oil specified here is not available
in your country, consult your Service Booklet.
