Bulb repla cement

Before repla cing a bulb, turn off the

respective light switch.

On ly ho ld n ew b u lb a t base ! D o n ot t ou ch

the bulb glass with bare hands, otherwise

fingerprin ts on the glass evaporate. Residue

builds up on the ref lector eventually resulting

in a dull reflector. Inadvertently stained bulbs

may be c lean ed with a c le an non-fluffy cloth,

using alcohol or white spirits.

Replacement bulb must be in ac cordan ce

with data on base of defective bulb. Do not

exc eed wattage give n on bu lb base.

To ch ange front headlamp bulbs, remove

relevant cover: turn rotating lock through 90°

using a coin and re move cove r.

Headla mp aiming

Headla mp aiming should be ca rried out by a

Vauxhall Dealership, who will have special

equipme nt.

Ellipsoid headlamp system,

dipped and main beam

Headlamps with separate systems for dipped

beam 1 (outer bulbs) an d ma in beam 2 (inner

bulbs).

Dipped beam

1. Open bonnet.

2. Remove headlamp protective ca p – see

Fig. 74 90 V.

3. Remove headlamp protective cover.
