Automatic mode
Basic setting for maximum comfort:
z Press AUTO bu tt on .
z Open all front air vents.
z Set the preselected temperature for the
driver and passenger sides to 22 °C using
the turn knobs.
If necessary, the preselected temperature can
be se t h igh er or lo wer .
Differen t pre selected t emper atu re s c an be se t
for the driver and passenger side s.
Operation without cooling may impair the
level of comfortsee page 130.
Prese lec ted t e mper ature
Using the knobs, preselec ted temperat ures
can be set to va lues be twee n 16 ° C and
28 °C.
For the sake of comfort, only change the
prese le cted temperature in small ste ps.
If a te mperature be low 16 ° C is set, LO
appe ars in the display: the elec tronic air
conditioning system runs constantly with
maximum cooling. The temperature is not
re gu la ted.
If a te mperature above 28 °C is set , HI
appe ars in the display: the elec tronic air
conditioning system runs constantly with
maximum he ating. Th e temperature is not
re gu la ted.
The preset tempe ra tures are retained when
the ignition is switched off.
If the prese lected tempe rature is displayed
only on the driver's side, the driver's side and
passenger side temperatures are se t
toge th er. T he t emperatur e presele cte d fo r t he
driver's side is adopted f or the pa ssenger
side.
To pre set the temperature separately, press
on e of the two kn obs a nd make th e se tt in gs
for each side. The prese lected tempe ra tures
are shown separately on the driver's side and
passenger side displays.
To re turn to setting the pre selected
temperatures for the driver’s side and
passenger side together, press the knob
again.
For reasons of comfort, the prese le cted
temperatures should not differ by more than
C.
To switch the temperature display be twe en
°C and °F: press AUTO button for approx.
3 seconds.
